From guessing to shooting with intent; a beginner-friendly digital photography workshop to help you understand your camera and
shoot with more clarity and confidence.

Stuck on Auto?
You’re Not Alone.

You bought a camera, but it’s mostly sitting there—because you’re not quite sure how to use it. Every setting feels overwhelming, the technical terms don’t make sense yet, and the idea of even starting can feel a bit intimidating. You don’t want to keep guessing or relying on Auto, but you’re also unsure where to begin without feeling lost in all the complexity.

This beginner workshop is built to ease you into it—breaking things down simply, helping you understand your camera step by step, and giving you the confidence to finally start shooting with clarity instead of hesitation.

Meet the trainer!

After obtaining a BA in Visual Communication, Ashaary spent several years working on campaigns across various agencies and design studios, building a strong foundation in creative strategy, visual storytelling, and hands-on execution. With a preference for being directly involved in the craft, he developed a practice rooted in thoughtful details, human connection, and purposeful narratives rather than surface-level aesthetics.

This approach naturally evolved into Gentle City Folks, a personal expression of his perspective on people, places, and everyday life within the city. Through the brand, Ashaary explores stories with warmth, honesty, and sensitivity—capturing moments that often go unnoticed. His work is influenced by a deep interest in street photography, documentary photography, and storytelling, blending candid observation with intentional composition to create imagery that feels both intimate and timeless.
